My cousin wants me to teach her kid facials, and I'm split on mixing family with training.
I mean, it could be fun to share skills with family, but idk, maybe it's just me but I worry about blurring lines between personal and pro, what do you all think?
Flip it around though - what if teaching her kid backfires and they don't click with it, then your cousin blames you for wasting their time or money on products they didn't need. I've seen family favors turn into grudges because someone felt pressured to keep going out of politeness. Maybe offer to do one quick demo session together with both of them watching, then let the kid decide if they even want to pursue it further on their own.
