Vent: I always thought wired headphones were a hassle until my AirPods died during a flight
I switched back to a cheap pair of wired earbuds for a week and the battery life is just better. Anyone else find themselves going back to old tech that just works?

Ugh, that's the worst. My wireless ones died right before a long train ride last month. Grabbed my old wired pair from a drawer and honestly, not having to charge them is a game changer. They just live in my bag now as a backup.

Yeah seriously, I used to roll my eyes at people being so into wires but then my Powerbeats died mid-run and I had nothing. @rileyjones is spot on that wired is the best backup, I keep a pair in my car glovebox now and it's saved me more than once. Never would have thought I'd go back but here we are, just works every time.
