Found an old farrier's ledger from 1910 at a farm auction

It was in a box of junk near Salem. The guy charged 75 cents for a full set of shoes. That's like 25 bucks today. He did six horses before lunch on a Tuesday. Makes you think about how fast we work now. Anyone else come across old records like that?

Okay but the "makes you think" part... what's there to think about? It was a different job. He did six horses because that's all he had to do that day. It's not some deep lesson about modern life.
