A goat decided my fence line was a buffet

I had to get creative with temporary barriers until the owner came to collect his escape artist, who was happily munching on my marking flags.

Those marking flags remind me of when my cousin's sheep ate all her laundry off the line. Do animals just love brightly colored things?

Bet that goat mistook your flags for some kind of candy buffet. They just see bright colors and assume it's lunch. Good luck explaining those missing markers to your survey guy.

Oh man, that's a new one! @noahclark is probably right about the bright colors. Did the goat go for a specific color of flag, or was it just eating the whole rainbow? I'd be curious if the owner said this happens a lot.
