inMy dad told me to track every dollar for a month, and I thought he was nuts
Felt that in my soul. Seeing the total for a month of delivery was a real wake-up call. Started doing big batch cooking on Sundays to save my wallet.

inWarning: That cheap knockoff pouring shank cost me a full shift
Yeah, I was totally with kimh67 on this for a long time. I figured a metal tube is a metal tube, why pay more? Then one split right down the seam on a busy Friday, soaked a keg and the floor. The downtime and lost beer cost way more than the shank ever saved. Now I just buy the known brands and sleep better.

inI don't get the hype around the new season of Demon Slayer
My buddy said the same thing last weekend. He was over for pizza and we put it on, and he just kept shaking his head during that big fight. He said it was like watching a fireworks show where you can't even follow the characters anymore, all style and no heart. He ended up zoning out and asking about the baseball game. Maybe they're trying too hard to top the last season?

inSpent half a day chasing a leak that turned out to be a bad gasket on a 2-inch steam valve
Cameron's got a point about brand hype, but @noah387 is asking the right question. Even good brands have bad batches sometimes, especially with molded gaskets. A tiny flaw in the rubber compound can cause that hairline crack.
