Changed how I cut door jambs about 5 years ago

Used to just use a handsaw and a block to cut jambs for flooring. Took forever and always ended up with rough cuts. Now I use an oscillating multitool with a depth stop. Got one after I wrecked a nice prehung door at a house in Arlington. Cuts clean, takes 30 seconds per jamb. Anyone else switch tools for this?

Nah man, I gotta push back on this one. A depth stop on a multitool is slick but I still grab my handsaw for jambs because the battery always dies right when I'm in the groove. That clean cut argument is fair but a sharp jamb saw with a guide block does just as good for me without the dust and noise.

Ask @the_robert how often you actually have to sharpen that guide block setup?
