Looks like the family secret got out with all those failed tarts lmao. It's probably a habit of burnt crusts and runny fillings passed down for ages. I bet everyone in the family has a story about a kitchen mess that was blamed on the oven. At this point, your baking skills are less of a secret and more of a warning to others. Keep trying though, because someone has to break the cycle. Or just buy store-bought and pretend you made it, no one will know.
