How old is your daughter? My kid once asked if my laptop was my "work toy" because I was always touching it. It's wild how they make sense of our weird adult setup. That drawing must feel better than any client praise.

Work toy" is exactly the kind of unbiased praise we're all missing. My kid's review of my cooking is more honest than any professional feedback I've ever gotten.

Seriously, kids have that way of cutting right to the truth. That pure reaction is worth more than a dozen fake-nice emails.
