Remember when game night meant a stack of board games from the 90s?

Our Friday nights used to be just me and three friends playing Monopoly or Risk at my apartment in Springfield. That changed about five years ago when one friend brought over a game called Gloomhaven. Now our whole group of six plans whole campaigns, and we use a shared online calendar to pick dates. It went from a casual hangout to a full event we all look forward to. What was the one game that changed your game night routine?
