Just realized my 6-year-old's doodle of a 'space potato' is basically abstract art
I stuck her crayon drawing of a lumpy purple oval with craters on the fridge last Tuesday, and my neighbor who does graphic design said it looks like a Rothko. Now I'm wondering if I should frame it instead of tossing it when she brings home a new one next week.
Totally agree with @lilychen, even if the art isn't your style, someone might love it down the road. Free art can turn into a cool surprise find at a thrift store or something.
