Cleaned my fridge and found 7 jars of pickles
I was trying to clear out some space for groceries and pulled everything out. When I lined it all up on the counter, I counted seven different jars of pickles, from dill spears to spicy bread and butter chips. I guess my habit of grabbing a jar whenever a recipe calls for 'just a tablespoon' really added up over the past few months. What's the weirdest ingredient you've found you stockpile without realizing?

Are you sure that's actually a problem? Seven jars just means you're prepared for any pickle situation, from burgers to potato salad. It's not weird to stockpile something you use all the time, that's just smart shopping. Finding a bunch of one thing shows you know what you like, it's not a weird habit at all. My fridge is full of mustard for the same reason, and I never regret having options.

Ever open your fridge and realize you have way too much of one thing? I had that with hot sauce last year, just a whole shelf of it. Mark731 is onto something with the mustard, because honestly having options beats running out when you need it. I had to start using it on everything just to make space, which actually worked out fine. It feels weird at first but you do get used to having a backup for your backup.
