My sandwich grease fogged up a polyurethane coat.
I was eating at my bench and some grease from my sandwich got on the fresh poly. Now there's a cloudy patch. What's the best way to fix this without stripping the whole thing?

How fresh is the poly coat? If it's still curing, that grease might have actually softened the finish a bit, which is a different problem than just a surface haze.

0000 steel wool cleared my grease haze. A light poly touch-up blended it perfectly.
