I spent three hours trying to cut a perfect circle for a custom porthole window before remembering the old waterjet trick.
The client wanted a 24-inch circle in 3/8 inch tempered for their boat, and I was about to order a new router bit until my buddy texted 'just use the waterjet template from the shop in Newport, dummy'.

Wait, a whole sheet? Like a full piece of printer paper? I can't even imagine the mess that must have made. My disasters are usually just a corner getting torn or a tiny wrinkle. A whole sheet gone means you had glue everywhere, or it just completely folded on itself. That's next level bad luck right there.

The template trick is a lifesaver. Honestly, I've seen guys burn through two whole sheets of glass trying to freehand that kind of cut.
