My neighbor's dog barked at a spot in the yard for three days straight...
I finally went over to check it out, and there was absolutely nothing there, not even a bug or a leaf. It was just an empty patch of grass, but the dog acted like it saw something move every single time. Has anyone else had a pet fixate on a totally blank space like the world skipped a frame?

Oh man, that dog is definitely seeing a ghost. Your yard has a glitch in the matrix.

My old dog used to stare at the wall like that all the time. It was usually just a fly or a weird shadow from the neighbor's tree. Lee.diana, I feel like we jump to ghosts or glitches too fast. Dogs notice tiny things we miss, like dust in a sunbeam or a sound from two streets over. It's probably just something simple like that.

Read an article once about dogs seeing into the ultraviolet spectrum, so they might spot things like old pee stains we can't see. Lee.diana's ghost idea is fun, but it's probably just a smell or a sound we're missing. My friend's cat does this with a corner in her basement, turns out there's a mouse in the wall.
