Spotted a gnome wedged in a birdhouse after a storm last week

I went out to check for damage after that big wind came through and found a little ceramic gnome crammed headfirst into my neighbor's birdhouse like someone shoved him in there for safekeeping, made me wonder how many gnomes actually get displaced by weather and end up in weird spots like that, has anyone else found one in a weird spot after a storm?

Don't you think the weather has a weird sense of humor about where it puts things? I swear after every big storm, I find stuff in spots that make no sense. It's like nature plays a game of hide and seek with our random junk. Last year a big gust threw a plastic flamingo from three houses down right into my azalea bush, looked like it was trying to hide. I bet half the gnomes we see in gardens are actually storm transplants that just got tired of moving. It's a whole underground network of displaced lawn decor that nobody talks about.

My neighbor's trampoline landed in my backyard after a storm last spring, and it took three of us to drag it back. So yeah, @henderson.kim, I get what you're saying about weather playing games. But here's what I wonder - do you think storms actually remember where they drop stuff? Like, is there some kind of pattern to it, or is it just random chaos every time? Because I've noticed certain items, like plastic chairs and those cheap lawn ornaments, always seem to end up in the same spots in my yard. Makes me think maybe the wind has a favorite hiding place or something.
