Hot take: healing in Overwatch is way harder than DPS, I learned that the hard way

I spent like 6 months playing Soldier 76 and thought I was hot stuff. Then I switched to Mercy for a week and realized I had zero game sense. I kept flying into the enemy team because my positioning was trash. Turns out tracking 5 teammates and 6 enemies at once is totally different from just shooting people. Anyone else find support way harder than they expected?

Walked right into that one didn't you? Mercy is basically a crash course in "you can't just walk forward and shoot". I tried Ana once and spent the entire match yelling at my own team for not standing still. Your DPS brain is like "enemy over there, shoot them". Support brain is like "where is everyone, who is about to die, is that a flanker behind me, oh god I'm dead". Its a totally different game.

Man what really helped me was just picking one support and sticking with them until it felt natural. I spent like a week just playing Baptiste and suddenly I wasn't panicking anymore, I was just watching everyone's health bars without thinking about it. After that Mercy and Ana made way more sense because my brain already knew where to look.

Man I felt this one deep, support is brutal until it clicks.
