Judge laughed at my evidence during a landlord dispute

Got eviction paperwork for noise complaints from downstairs. Spent 3 weeks recording the actual source - the furnace rattling through the vents. Judge tossed my audio files because I didn't timestamp them correctly. Has anyone else had evidence rejected on a technicality?

Court doesn't care about the truth half the time, just paperwork. Judges live for technicalities.

Read an article saying courts toss evidence on tiny rules all the time, @danielwhite is right.
