Overheard a freelancer say they charge by the hour and it hit me different
I was at a coffee shop in Austin last Thursday and caught two agency owners talking. One guy said he bills his clients a flat monthly rate for social media management, not by the hour. He claimed it doubled his income because he stopped nickel and diming every little task. It made me realize how much time I waste tracking 15 minute increments for client calls. I switched my own pricing model to value based packages after that. Has anyone else tried moving away from hourly billing and seen a real difference?
