Pitched a client in a coffee shop bathroom and got the account

Last month I had a last minute call with a big prospect and my office internet went down completely. I ended up huddling in the bathroom stall at a Starbucks in Austin, whispering my whole pitch strategy over speakerphone. The echo was AWFUL but the client loved how "focused" I sounded. Now I always keep a portable hotspot in my bag because that bathroom reeked of burnt coffee.

Oh man, I've been there. The bathroom pitch is a real thing when you're desperate. Always keep that hotspot charged, that trick saved me more than once.

Hotspot's fine until the wifi ghosts you mid-call. Not worth the stress.
