Hot take: Inception actually makes less sense if you focus on the spinning top at the end
I watched it again last night and realized the whole movie is built on unreliable timelines and dream layers, but everyone argues about the top when the real plot hole is how Cobb even got back to his kids without a passport since he was a fugitive, am I missing something?

I had the exact same thought after my third watch, the passport thing bugged me way more than the top ever did.
