Switched from reading e-books to audiobooks for my 2 AM wind-down and it changed my whole routine
I used to stare at my phone screen reading thrillers until my eyes burned around 1 AM, but last month I swapped to audiobooks through library apps and now I just lie in the dark listening until I drift off. The narrator's voice kind of anchors my brain so I don't spiral into late-night anxiety about work or money. Has anyone else found that switching formats helped them actually fall asleep faster?

Started doing the same thing about six months ago. Picked up a sleep timer on the Libby app. Set it for 20 minutes. Game changer. The narrator's voice keeps my brain from bouncing around to all the crap I gotta do tomorrow. I use a Bluetooth sleep mask too. No earbuds falling out. Just lay there, close my eyes, and let the story take over. Way less anxiety now. Definitely wake up feeling more rested.

My buddy Matt tried this with a bluetooth sleep mask and woke up with the audiobook still playing at 4am.
