That $80 antique music box I bought at a flea market in Portland
I picked up a late 1800s German music box from a vendor for $80 because the tune disc looked cool. Got it home, wound it up, and it played one note before the spring snapped inside like a twig. Anyone else blow money on old mechanical stuff that just broke immediately?

Man, that sucks. Did you check if the tune disc was even worth anything before you bought it?
