Wasted $60 on a custom pirate costume that my cat HATED

I ordered this really cool pirate outfit with a tiny hook hand and everything from Etsy. My cat Luna just froze up and refused to move when I put it on her. She literally laid flat on the floor like a pancake for 20 minutes. Has anyone else dropped serious cash on a costume your pet just completely rejected?

Gonna disagree here, putting a costume on a cat that makes them freeze up sounds like it's more for your fun than hers. Cats don't really get why we dress them up, they just feel awkward. Maybe next time try a little bandana instead, way less stress for everyone.
