My neighbor's podcast rec turned a casual chat into a conspiracy theory deep dive

I was just chatting with my neighbor about gardening, and he somehow thought I was into alien abductions, idk why. He then enthusiastically recommended this wild podcast called 'Cosmic Cover-Ups' for my next commute. I gave it a listen, and it's all about government secrets and UFO sightings with super dramatic hosts. Next time I saw him, he asked if I believed the moon landing was fake now, and I had to awkwardly say I was just in it for the plants. Honestly, it was so absurd I couldn't stop smiling, but now I'm low-key hooked on weird podcasts. Guess sometimes a wrong turn leads to a fun find, lol.

Oh man, @rose_davis4, those podcasts got me too. I mean, it's wild how many stories just sound like someone's tired brain filling in the dark spaces with a story, you know?

That 3 AM drive home after a night shift really changes how you hear those woodsy sounds in the stories lol. The part about shadow people gets extra creepy when your brain is tired. Makes you wonder if some cryptids are just our brains being weird.
