Honesty in group chats can actually help teams talk straight. @bailey.max, your boss hearing that might push them to change the timeline for real. Maybe your slip did everyone a favor.

Last Thursday on Zoom, I meant to send a snarky take on the project timeline to my friend's private chat. My fingers slipped and it went to the whole team channel calling it 'wishful thinking'. My boss replied with a frowning emoji, and I spent the next hour explaining myself. I still cringe every time I open that app.
