Pro tip: Taking five-minute walks between drafting sessions cleared my brain fog.

Ever throw on some upbeat music during those walks?

Can we talk about dealing with city lights when shooting the Milky Way?

Man, I feel this so hard. You really gotta drive way out, like at least an hour from any big city, to get away from that glow. Check a light pollution map online to find the closest truly dark spot. Also, shoot on a moonless night and aim your camera away from the direction of the town. A light pollution filter can help a little, but distance is your best fix.

Rant: I bought a blender based on video reviews, but the noise level was never shown

Oh man, my buddy's brand new one started smoking after his first frozen berry mix. We all heard this awful grinding noise, then this burnt smell filled his kitchen. The motor just quit, like it couldn't handle the ice at all. Has that happened to anyone you know?

Vent: Our furnace temperature controls are all over the place lately

I once tried to fix my oven's readout and now it thinks 350 is freezing. In my experience, some projects just have a mind of their own.

Rant: Putting together a closet organizer with my mom took all Saturday

Totally get what anna_hill said about sketching it out first. My friend Mark told me a similar story about putting up a shed with his dad. They started building and immediately started fighting over where the tools would hang and where to put the lawnmower. It was a whole mess. They finally stopped, drew a super simple layout on a napkin, and labeled everything. After that, they finished in like two hours with no more yelling. It really is all about that first plan.
