PSA: Dont spend $30 on a slow cooker liner if you hate cleanup

Bought a pack of those reusable silicone liners thinking theyd save me scrubbing but the thing just floats around in my stew and the food gets stuck under it anyway. Anyone else ditch fancy liners and just spray the crock with oil instead?

Are you sure you used them right? I let mine sit in the bottom and the food actually stays underneath it for me, no floating at all. I just make sure the liner fits snug against the sides before I add anything. The spray oil trick works but I still get that baked-on ring around the top that takes forever to scrub off. The silicone wipes clean in like 10 seconds, so I’ll take a little floating over that any day.

I tried those silicone liners too and yeah, mine just floated around and made more mess.
