Blew $60 on a can crusher that barely works for art prep
Picked up this fancy crusher from a hardware site thinking it would save time flattening cans for my wall pieces. Thing jams on every third can and leaves jagged edges I still have to sand down. Anyone found a cheap crusher that actually handles soda cans clean?

Did you try lubing the rails on that thing before you gave up on it? I grabbed a cheap aluminum one from Harbor Freight for like 20 bucks and it's been solid for two years now, no jams or anything. Just gotta make sure you line the cans up straight when you drop them in or the side will catch.

oh man that reminds me of the time i tried to crush some beer cans for a party and the whole thing just exploded sideways. spent like an hour picking aluminum shards out of my lawn 😂 at least you got yours working with some lube, i just gave up and started stomping them myself
