Tried using a utility knife to cut cans for 6 months, switched to tin snips and it's night and day.

The utility knife kept slipping and I cut myself twice, tin snips are way safer and give cleaner edges on the aluminum. Anyone else ditch the blade for snips?

Man, for real... I tried the knife thing too and it was just sketchy all around. The snips give you way more control, especially once you get the hang of feeding the cut line smooth.
