Can we talk about treating a room with windows? I hit a wall with my setup.

I set up my recording gear in my spare bedroom last month, and I've got two big windows reflecting sound everywhere. One side I hung cheap moving blankets over the glass and it killed the echo, but now it sounds boxy and dead. The other side I left bare so the room feels more natural, but there's too much reverb on voice. Has anyone else dealt with this trade off? What'd you do to balance windows versus sound treatement?

Man, that's a rough spot to be in. It's like you gotta pick between too live or too dead. I've been there with a room that had one huge window and it drove me nuts.

Huh, my buddy had the same problem. Ended up hanging blankets over half the window.
