Just got told my SSDI application notes were too vague

I mean, I thought I was being thorough, but the reviewer said I was leaving out key details about how my condition actually limits daily stuff. They pointed out I wrote 'difficulty standing' without saying I can only stand about 8 minutes before my back gives out. So I went back and added concrete examples like that for each symptom. Has anyone else had to rework their wording after getting feedback from SSA?

Did you leave out specific durations and frequencies for each limitation? I've been through this myself and learned the hard way that vague statements like "can't lift much" mean nothing to them. They want you to say "I can lift a gallon of milk but not a laundry basket." But the tricky part is balancing being detailed without being too wordy. How long did it take you to figure out the right level of detail for each activity?

Start with your easiest tasks and add one extra detail at a time until they stop asking follow-ups, @abbyk10. Took me about three rounds of back and forth before I got the hang of it.
