Picked the bear towel fold over the swan for my sister's birthday gift
Spent 20 minutes trying to make a swan out of a hand towel but the wings kept flopping over so I switched to the bear fold and it held together way better, has anyone else had trouble with the swan shape collapsing?

Exactly, the swan is such a pain with smaller towels. I tried it once on a hand towel and gave up after the third flop, the bear fold is the only way to go for gifts that actually stay put.

That bear fold is way more forgiving than the swan. What size towel were you using? I've found the swan only works with those big bath sheets, otherwise the ears flop before you even get the neck twisted.
