Still picking the roll method over the fold for bath towels

My wife swears by the three-fold for closet storage. I tried it for two months. Dusty and takes up way more space than my rolled ones. Has anyone else found the roll method actually keeps your linen closet cleaner?

Oh, rolled towels let the deep folds breathe so they actually dry out faster.

Three months rolled here. Top shelf towels always smell musty to me.
