Dropped a Model M on my foot last night and it still works fine

Drop that bad boy right on your toe and it just laughs at you. I've seen videos of people using Model Ms as boat anchors or beating dents out of car panels with 'em. Meanwhile I dropped my mechanical keyboard from three inches and now the 'A' key double types every time. They really did make 'em like tanks back then.

Oh man, I swear the old stuff was built to survive anything. It's like everything made before 2000 had a chip on its shoulder and something to prove, while my phone cracks if I look at it wrong.
