Caught a guy at the swap meet using a crowbar on a carburetor

I was at the Portland auto swap meet last Sunday and some dude was prying at a carb float bowl with a crowbar. Said his screwdriver broke and he had to finish the job. He ended up cracking the casting and cussing up a storm. Has anyone else seen people just grab whatever metal stick is nearby when their proper tool gives out?

Tbh that's rough to watch. A crowbar on a carburetor is just asking for trouble, you know? That metal is usually pretty brittle and one wrong move and it's game over. I've definitely seen guys at the junkyard grab whatever pipe or tire iron is lying around when they get frustrated. It's like once something breaks in your hand your brain just stops thinking straight. Poor guy probably spent half the day hunting down that part too. Makes you want to give him a six pack and a proper set of tools next time.

Half those junkyard guys would snap a carbide bit with a hammer.
