Finally figured out kitchener stitch at the Puyallup library

Was at the fiber arts meetup last Saturday and a lady showed me how to keep the yarn tension loose. Has anyone else had a random stranger fix a problem you'd been stuck on for months?

Not really seeing why it's that deep, honestly... it's just knitting.

Months though? I mean, kitchener stitch is just grafting, its not exactly brain surgery. Is it really that big of a deal that you had some random person fix it? Sounds like you just needed someone to show you instead of watching a YouTube video for five minutes. Maybe the problem was more about not wanting to figure it out yourself than anything else. Seems like a lot of drama over a basic knitting technique.
