inClient offered extra cash to ignore a capacitor flaw.
Hold up, not every capacitor flaw is a disaster. If it's in a low-voltage circuit, it might not affect safety at all. Some devices run fine with minor cap issues for years. The extra cash could be for a flaw that doesn't matter much.

inA shared story prompt ended our family's silent treatment
Found that writing letters to my dad, even ones I never sent, helped me figure out a lot of old anger. I mean, idk, maybe it's just me but putting all that messy family stuff on paper made it feel less huge. It was like I could see our fights from the outside, you know? Started doing it during a really rough patch and it sort of broke the cycle in my head. Gave me the guts to actually talk to him later, but the writing part did the heavy lifting first. Honestly, cheap notebook therapy worked better than I ever thought it would.

inPSA: My simple trick for making friends in a new country
Lisbon sounds nice, but my version of this in Tokyo was me bowing to the same vending machine every day. The machine never invited me to weekend hangs, but it did give me consistent hot coffee. I guess machines aren't as social as Portuguese regulars. Maybe I should upgrade to a human-run spot!
