My kid asked why we don't just bake everything now

He saw me making fries and said the air fryer is just a small oven. I explained it moves hot air fast, which makes things crispy without needing a lot of oil. What's a good way to show a child the difference it makes?

Huh, that's actually a smart kid. Did you try doing a side-by-side test with like, a potato wedge in the oven vs the air fryer?

My old oven took like 45 minutes for decent wedges. The air fryer does them in 20, and they come out way crispier on the outside. The real test is frozen fries, the air fryer makes them taste fresh. I wouldn't go back to just using the oven for that stuff now.
