Showerthought: I used to think those cheap climbing rope bags were fine
Bought a $15 one that ripped after a month, dumping my gear from 30 feet up. Anyone know a brand that actually lasts more than one season?

Honestly, the real issue is how you pack it. I've seen expensive bags fail because people just stuff them, putting weird stress on the seams. Fold the rope neatly, don't overfill it, and even a cheaper bag will last way longer. It's not just about the brand.
