Okay, the 'caveman' thing is getting out of hand. I volunteer at a dig site near Sedona and tourists keep asking where the cavemen lived.

Ugh, I feel that. I work at a museum and get asked if we have dinosaur bones every single day. Maybe we should just start making stuff up?

Making stuff up" seems like a bad fix for a small problem. It's just tourists being a bit clueless, not a real crisis. Letting it bother you that much is what actually wastes your energy.
