Heard a guy at the coffee shop say he just asks the internet everything now

I was grabbing a coffee this morning and the guy next to me told his friend, 'I don't even try to remember stuff anymore, I just type it into a forum.' He said he fixed his sink, learned a guitar chord, and found a vet for his dog all from asking online this month. It made me think we're all just crowdsourcing our brains now. Has anyone else found themselves relying on asking here instead of trying to figure things out alone first?

Well, I'm with @cameronrivera on trying first... but my attempts usually just create more questions for the forum.

Nah, I'm the opposite. I'll search for a guide or a manual first. Actually trying to fix my own sink taught me more than any forum post. Feels better to solve it yourself, even if you fail a few times.
