Update: that $180 pin insertion tool kit was a waste of money

I bought one 6 months ago thinking it would speed up connector work, but the tips wore out after maybe 40 terminations and the extractor bent on the second harness. Anyone got a brand they actually trust for pin work, or am I better off going back to the old hand tools?
