That "shadow from the moon" thing is so true. I went camping last fall and the first night, I just stood there staring up. Forgot how many stars there actually are, you know? It was almost scary.
Honestly that "24/7 stadium lighting" line hits hard. You can't even see the Big Dipper anymore, just this weird orange glow all night. I miss when you could actually go for a walk and see your shadow from the moon. Now it's just security lights and empty parking lots forever.
