Might get flack but Wahl clippers beat Andis for everyday shop use
I've been running a shop in Tucson for 8 years and I keep going back to my Wahl Seniors over the Andis Masters. Yeah the Masters feel solid and have that metal housing, but the Wahl adjusts better for different hair types without swapping blades. I reblade my Seniors maybe twice a year versus every 3 months on the Andis. Anyone else find the Wahl holds up longer between service intervals?

You feel me on this? I've had the exact same thing with my Wahl Seniors. The blade gap on the Andis just doesn't hold as steady after a few heavy weeks. I do a lot of fades and thick curly hair, and the Wahl cuts through it smooth without bogging down. The Andis felt like it was fighting me after month two. I swear I'm swapping blades half as often on the Wahl, and they still feel fresh longer.

@taylor.phoenix nailed it, the blade gap thing is real. The Seniors just keep that consistent cut way longer without having to mess with it, makes a huge difference when you're slamming through a full day of clients.
