I was doing a fade on a 12-year-old Tuesday afternoon in my chair, and his mother kept telling him to stop squirming. But the real nightmare was this one cowlick right over his crown that would not lay flat no matter how I combed it. I finally hit it with some texture powder and a blow dryer on low, which saved it, but it took an extra 20 minutes I didn't plan for.
