Rode through downtown Seattle last Tuesday and noticed something weird about the bike lanes

I was commuting in from Capitol Hill and saw like 6 people on electric scooters just parked in the middle of the protected lane near Pine Street. Has anyone else been dealing with scooter clutter on your regular route or is it just a downtown problem?

Heard the city council is actually looking into adding more scooter parking zones downtown.

Borrowing from that discussion @spencerl32, but nobody's talking about where those scooters actually go when the parking zones fill up. I've seen people just abandon them in bike lanes or on sidewalks because there's no room in the designated spots. If the council adds a few more zones but doesn't think about overflow during events or rush hour, we're just moving the problem instead of fixing it. Maybe they should look into timed parking limits or dynamic pricing to keep the zones from getting jammed.
