Had to pick between using a $40 Japanese paper knife or a pizza cutter from my kitchen to trim some endpapers

A forty dollar paper knife is a real thing you can buy. I had no idea they even made those. The pizza cutter is the obvious choice here, it's basically a big round blade on a handle. I'm just stuck on the idea of a tool that expensive for cutting paper.

Yeah but that pizza cutter blade goes dull so fast. The paper knife stays sharp forever.
