The before and after on my peace lily after 3 weeks of filtered water was wild

I switched to using water from my fridge filter instead of tap water and the new leaves came in way greener without any brown tips. Has anyone else seen that big of a difference just from changing water sources?

Wait, so my plant was basically drinking garbage water this whole time? Guess I owe my peace lily an apology and a Brita filter.

Don't feel too bad, I once watered a fern with Gatorade because I thought the electrolytes would help (it did not help, it died a sticky death). At least your plant is getting filtered water now, mine got a sports drink funeral. Peace lilies are tough though, bet it'll forgive you if you give it some nice clean water for a week or two.
