Rant: My 'one pot' pasta in Seattle turned into a kitchen flood
I misread the recipe and used a full box of pasta in a small pot, which boiled over and put out the burner. Ended up finishing it in a cold frying pan, and it was somehow still edible. Anyone have a foolproof method for not making this mess again?

Always thought bigger pots were a waste until my own pasta volcano.
