Spent 45 minutes looking for a $2.50 coupon I already had
I was at the grocery checkout trying to find a coupon on my phone for dish soap and the cashier just pulled up a digital one from their own app in 10 seconds. Now I just ask politely before I dig through my phone. Has anyone else had a cashier save them time like that?

Cashiers with those saved shortcuts are absolute lifesavers.

Oh man, you hit on something big here. It's not just cashiers, it's like a whole hidden layer of efficiency that most people don't notice. I've been noticing this pattern everywhere recently, like how seasoned baristas have their own little choreography or how some bus drivers hit every green light perfectly because they know the timing. Those little shortcuts are a form of quiet mastery, you know? It's like people who really know their job have built a secret set of rules and tricks that just make everything flow smoother for everyone. It's a skill that takes years and nobody ever gets a medal for it, but it makes the world run just a tiny bit better. Just makes you appreciate the people who take the time to learn that stuff instead of just phoning it in.
